• Financial Policy: We are a private, self-pay, out-of-network practice and do not bill or coordinate with insurance providers.

• Program Scope: This is a physician-guided program for individualized benzodiazepine tapering and stabilization. We do not provide one-time consultations or brief medication advice.

• Clinical Eligibility: Patients must be medically and psychiatrically stable enough for outpatient care and have access to an appropriate local prescriber and medical or psychiatric care when needed.

• Support Requirement: Patients must have a reliable in-home support person who can participate in the program.

• Taper Approach: We provide gradual, individualized tapering based on medication history, current stability, symptoms, functioning, and response to dose changes. We do not offer rapid or forced tapers.

• Level of Care: This program does not provide continuous monitoring, crisis intervention, inpatient care, or hands-on rehabilitation. In an emergency, contact your local clinician or go to the nearest emergency department.
